Employment Solicitor Jobs
Traditionally a popular area of law with many Trainee Solicitors and these positions can be keenly contested at the newly qualified levels. The role allows lawyers to undertake both contentious work with plenty of opportunity to hone your advocacy skills at Employment Tribunals and also employment advisory work. Other niche areas can include Employment Seminars and bespoke training, Pensions advisory work and Benefits.
In the current improved climate firms are starting to see an increase in demand for their employment legal services from both applicants and respondents. There are a number of firms looking to capitalise on the current market, by appointing candidates at a more qualified level and ideally with a client following. With the changes to the funding stream for tribunals the applicant source of work has seen a negative impact but, overall with renewed commercial growth the employment teams are certainly busy.
Main positions include:
- Employment Solicitors
- Pensions Solicitors
- Share Scheme and Benefits Solicitors
